POLARIC Images
- 3. Application for polymers
- As polymerization of acrylic polymer proceeds, the variation of fluorescent colors by included POLARIC™ is observed.
- 5. Chemiluminescence of solvatochromic probes
- Though usually luminol reaction represents only blue fluorescent, solvatochromic dyes allow to control luminescent colors from green to red, which leads to improvement of visibility.
- 6. T84 cell
- The difference of POLARIC™ dye’s fluorescent wavelengths reflects the difference of activity between each T84 cells.
- 7. CRYPT cell
- Cell membrane is fluorescently-stained selectively and the parts which presumed to be granules of antibacterial protein in the cell is also fluorescently-stained.
- 8. Macrophage
- (2) POLARIC™-C4 and (3) POLARIC™-500c6F stain cell membrane and mitochondria of RAW264 cell selectively.
- 9. Cardiomyocyte
- Cell membrane is stained green and mitochondria (a lot of mitochondria exist in cardiomyocyte) is stained orange, which makes easy to distinguish between cardiomyocyte and non-cardiomyocyte.
Cardiomyocyte beats more than two months if preservation condition is good.
- 10. Rat visceral adipose cell
- A. Differential interference contrast
B. Fluorescent imaging by fluorescent dye POLARIC™-500c6F (excitation wavelength 488 nm)
Cell imaging of B reveals only one fluorescent dye (excitation wavelength is only 488 nm) stained three organelles distinctly by the difference of polarity. For example, POLARIC™-500c6F stains mitochondria orange,
cell membrane green, endoplasmic reticulum yellow.
